Thank you...Call Again....

Getting the kids in the house after a long day of work is not easy. There are backpacks, lunch boxes, purses, grocery bags, coats, drinks, anything you can think of.....YOU know what I am talking about. It's cold...I'm tired...I still have to make dinner...the kids are arguing over who is going to get the mail, open the door, turn off the alarm and take their coat off first. Good times.....^%$#@!   Then as soon as you walk in the door, the phone rings, I ignore it. 2 minutes later, it rings again...I take a peak at the caller ID, some political call....I ignore it again, after all I have not even take off my coat. 6 minutes later, they call again, and now, just to make a point, I am NEVER going to answer their call. Seriously? Did you think that since the last 6 minutes has lapsed that I have come home, put things away and am ready to listen to you read a script from a paper. So it rings.....BUT only twice....interesting...they have given up and I have won!!

Until......

I realize that my 2 year has answered the phone which is one of his new favorite things to do...so I run to get the phone and he runs from me. I then hear the person say "Can I talk to your mommy?"

And he replies in his cute little voice...

NO...BOOTY HEAD!!

Made my freaking day!!!!
No one has called since....

OH THAT IS HILARIOUS! You should let him answer the phone more often!

OMG that is hilarious!! I had to laugh out loud at that one. I'm so glad that mine don't answer the phone. I ignore those calls too. It drives me nuts!

I can totally relate to the walking in the door craziness. It's like all my kids and the dog are wired and crazy at that time. Brooke and Nathan can be calm and relaxed until we go to the bus stop and come back. It's crazy.
